We moved into a small condo and wanted the warm ambiance of a home. This fireplace gives a sense of the real thing with or without the heat. It provides the room awesome mood glow. It is worth the extra money to get this sense of REALITY!
Unfortunately, the unit does not come with fire cracking sound so I purchased a fire cracking sound CD, copied the sound on a MP3 and play it through small computer speakers, which I installed in the cabinet,every time I turn my fireplace ON.

We were very impressed with the promptness and quality of the delivery. Within 30 minutes of unpacking it, it was installed and totally functioning. It was a real charm to work with. Would do it over again.

I decided on the Dimplex 26". I was a perfect fit for that area where it would be installed. Installation was very simple.
