My husband quickly set up the fireplace. At first glance I was thrilled with our purchase. The flame is very real looking. Even our contractor commented on how nice the fireplace is. After seeing some of the cheesy fireplaces at the home stores I was a little nervous about adding an electric fireplace to our basement. However we have already recieved many compliments and people can't believe that it is a fake flame. I would highly recommend as a supplemental heat source.

I did a lot of research before selecting this fireplace. We needed a fireplace that you could install in a sunroom, plug in, have it look like a real flame and provided adequate heat during the winter. There are cheaper ones, but Dimplex has a technology that gives it the look of a real fireplace. This was an early Christmas present for my mother and she is thrilled! She wanted that additional heat and it definitely does the job. It was professionally delivered in a timely manner and packed well.

OK I'm impressed. My office has 4 floor to ceiling windows and it's very hard to stay warm on the drizzly cold winter days in San Antonio. I decided an Electric Fireplace would give me the heater I needed as well as add a little homey touch to my office.
It arrived promptly right after lunch today and twenty minutes after our manufacturing people unpacked it, I had it assembled and running. It has excellent engineering and it looks like a fine piece of furniture. My office is about 300 square feet and it takes the chill off well enough that I was able to lower the heat in this part of the building by 5°. I would think that alone will pay for it in a year or so.
I would have to say I am extremely pleased with every part of this transaction.
