I flush mounted my fireplace mid wall in our newly remodeled dining room. It really added a warm feeling to the room. Everyone sitting at the table can enjoy the relaxing flame year-round. I find it interesting when the temperature is hot outside I turn the flame only option on and enjoying the warm glow. Our kitchen extends into the dining room and I even turn it on as I am cooking in the kitchen. It adds such a warm and even romantic atmosphere to both rooms. I replaced an older wood burning fireplace that I hardly used with something I love to use every day.

I did a media room remodel (18' X 18') and purchased the Dimplex 50 Linear BLF50. It is soooooooo beautiful and sleek, really adds the elegance to my room that I was looking for. The flames look very realistic, the heater is quiet, and having a remote to start your fireplace AWESOME. This product was well packaged and shipped on time. Without any hesitation or reservations I WOULD recommend this product.

This is a beautiful piece of engineering, its pretty and functional. Very easy to instal and works wonderful as a heater in a small room such as a bedroom. Very relaxing to look at even with the heat off. One small negative, the heater blower is audible, not annoying but could be a little quieter.

It looks great in our high-ceiling living room. The look is very contemporary and sleek, just the way we had intended. Very easy installation with plugin option. We built a wall to house it. Just beautiful. I would describe the flames as modern and pleasant and not gaudy. If you think of it as a nice modern expression of a fireplace and not something to fake people out, it's perfect. I love it.The max heat is 1200 watts and is not really going to heat up my high-ceiling space. That is okay in my application but may not work for someone, I suppose[...]
