I did extensive research for the fireplace buildout we wanted to add to our home, all of the others are pretty comparable and the flame is hyper unrealistic. This is a stand out from the crowd!! Makes you do a double take and if you're actually going to spend the $ on the buildout might as well splurge for a more realistic option! The app is fantastic, the âflame soundâ or crackle is kinda cheesy but the options are great! My only wish is that the flames were just a tad brighter or adjustable but again, this is still the best looking electric I've seen to date and the 5yr warranty helps! So far so good 👌🏼

Ignored Flaw
The unit overall is quite impressive thus far. BUT, there is a most notable flaw running right down the middle of the screen. A black strip becomes very noticeable when the unit is lit in a dark room. Customer service immediately recognized the issue I described and told me to âlighten the room' ⦠which is like a car salesman telling me to turn up the radio to offset the rattling noise. So, if you are like most people that like dark settings with your lit fire, be prepared to see this eye catching flaw.
