This should not be this complicated
I was so excited to have a see through electric fireplace, but the experience to make sure all components were pieced together has made that excitement fizzle. When purchasing the fireplace, from a Napoleon vendor, there were several pieces of information that were lacking. When I had to RE-ORDER the trim kit, there were several attempts to get the right size/color. Ultimately, what I received has some cosmetic issues, but I am so over the process, there was no way I was going to send it back, AGAIN. At the end of the day, after I install the fireplace, put on the trim, pay someone to finish my wall and add tile work to cover the rest of the opening, I am sure I will be happy with it- but I would never recommend this to anyone else.
